The recent attacks against Pastor Kim Burrell has many Christians wondering what is going on and what to think about the reactions she has received from the homosexual activists community and some who say they are Christians.
I hope this brief message is helpful.
It is important to understand how homosexual activists conduct their warfare against people who understand and attempt to expose the danger of homosexuality and the homosexual agenda.
REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY
If you are a homophobe, you may be a closet homosexual.
This is said to embarrass non-homosexuals who speak out against homosexuality.
What makes this tactic so effective against some is the fact that there have been those who were openly adversarial against homosexuality, who were later discovered to be homosexuals themselves. Examples of high profile people like Ted Haggard, and Eddie Long are good examples of this.
But what is generally overlooked by those who allow this kind of rhetoric to intimidate them into silence, is the fact that those of us who know we are not homosexuals, cannot be homosexualized by accusations or suggestions. Suggestions and isolated examples do not prove that all or even most who speak out against homosexuality are secret homosexuals, and so their suggestion is moot if you don’t allow it to intimidate you to silence.
Only people who are secretly homosexual, and for whatever reason decide to publically attack homosexuality, have reason to fear exposure. If you are not a homosexual, why would you be concerned about someone thinking you are? That gives them power over you that they should not have.
When you see or here these claims, you should consider who they are being propagated by. Usually they are open homosexuals or closet homosexuals who have power positions in media, education or government, that are using their “straight status” to promote the homosexual agenda, part of which is to find ways to silence opposition to homosexuality.
We should never fall for this and allow them to manipulate us into silence.
HOMOPHOBE
Straight people who hate homosexuals
Another tactic they use it the labeling tactic. And the Title “homophobe” is one of the most popular and effective titles that they have over the years used to stigmatize anyone who objected to or rejected homosexuality.
The only reason that the labeling of people as “homophobe” has been so effective in stigmatizing them as people who “hate” homosexuals, is because homosexual activists, have effectively repeated this on all of the TV and Cable programs, news outlets and political offices that they have control or access to.
They have long understood the game of stigmatization and making lies seem true. And they have had to depend heavily on such games because they know that homosexuality cannot be logically, spiritually or physically defended as something positive or good.
So to defend their un-defendable practice, they had to make those who speak against it seem mean and hateful. Thus, they compiled a list of the most obvious bigots, hatemongers and religious nutcases they could find, which is not difficult to do; and they put them on their talk show and news programs and they got them to say all the mean things that such people say about homosexuals so that everyone could see the kind of people who hate homosexuals. Then they mass publicized the events in their other media and before you knew it, it was clear to everyone (accept those who where informed about the homosexual agenda), that only these kinds of people hated homosexuals.
It worked wonders for the homosexual community. They played the public using the media, and Oprah, Tyra Banks, Rickie Lake, Phil Donahue and may other TV personalities were the media Gurus who helped them do it.
By the way, both of those tactics have been tried on me many times, and I found that when you let them know that you know the game and tell then how they play it, they run, because they don’t really know how to handle someone who knows their games.
There are many more such tactics that they use but I cannot address them all here. But one other I must address in light of the recent attack on Pastor Kim Burrell by the homosexual activists community and some who profess to be Christians.
THE HATE SPEECH ACCUSATION
Whenever someone says anything negative about homosexuality, accuse them of speaking hate and use as many other words that indicate prejudices, bigotry, meanness, anti-harmony and anti-love as possible, to make them ashamed for having dared to make the statements.
I am amazed at how even generally intelligent people in the Christian church, have continually fallen for this trick. But over and over again, when ever a prominent person says something against homosexuality, people who claim to be lovers of Jesus and the Bible seem to go out of their way to voice their objection and separation from such “hate”.
Those of us who truly want to honor Jesus, must remember that this is a tactic by homosexuals and those who want to empower them to spread their pro-homosexual agenda, to shame good people to silence. Good people who don’t want to be called hateful or thought of as mean and unloving.
All you have to do to encourage yourself, when you start feeling the guilt they are trying to put on you, is to ask yourself, whose standards of goodness, kindness, love, truth and morality are you following, theirs or Gods?
Ask yourself the kind of questions that I recently asked Yolanda Adams, and others who think like her in a resent article:
Do you remember this Jesus? (Matthew 21:12).
Was 1 Corinthians 5:1-7,11 unwarranted?
Is 1 John 1:6 mean? Is Ephesians 5:11 hateful?
Is Romans 1:18-32 mean? Have you ever read
2 Timothy 4:16? Is it “love” to side with those who reject or violate God’s word against those who are striving to live for God?
So when they says “I condemn hate speech of any kind” you need to know how they defines “hate speech”. And ask them;
is Romans 1:18-32 hate speech?
Once that is clear, their game no longer has any effect on you.
I have written many articles addressing the homosexual agenda and they are accessible by the "article" tab.
