Disclaimer: Before reading this message, please note the following; I am not attempting to condemn the universal Christian church which I believe to be still subject to the will of God, dedicated and determined to obey God’s word and unwilling to follow the world. This universal Church is the true church of believers on every continent of this planet who are striving to be sold out to God and are not tempted by the allure of worldly possessions, worldly favor, position, popularity, celebrity or perks. Such believers cannot be brought with money and they are not controlled by their sexual nature. Their primary goal is to understand and fulfill God’s will in this earth until He returns. But they are not perfect people without any kind of faults, nor are they glorified. Any attempt to use this message to condemn the universal Church would be a monumental waste of time. It is the local visible church of every denomination and kind that is my target.
Our nation and the world are clearly in a spiritually deprived state. Some nations that once had a dominate Christian presence has now become predominately atheist. We have lost most of our young generation to a mindset of ideologies that are foreign to biblical standards and commitment. And it is becoming more and more difficult to even find people who claim to be Christians who are actually dedicated to the rightly divided Word of God and Biblical Christianity. Indeed we are living in the last days. (2 Tim. 3:1-5)
The truth of the matter is that the universal Christian church has for a long time been much smaller than it was made to appear to be by referencing Christian organizations, personalities and denominations.
While it may be true that during our founding era, the majority of our American citizens were properly referred to as Christian, (though even then many were not as dedicated to the rightly divided word as they should have been), at some point that status quickly faded as more and more fake moralist Christians slid into positions of leadership in media, government and education and began bringing in their people of like mind to stack the deck as it were against those who did not share their liberal viewpoints.
Eventually, there were more liberals in positions of power in media, government and education than there were true conservative Bible believing Christians, and that became true of the major newspapers as well. And so the plot to move the American people away from Christianity and towards a more liberal, free thinking form of “Christianity” (which in fact was not Christianity), that did not carry the weight, integrity and accountability of the more biblically sound version of Christianity, was realized, and we have now the result of all that hard work, a nation of mostly non-Christian, “Christians”, and outright anti-Christians. And for the most part, they are the people who seem to be running our nation via media, schools and local governments.
But the question is, where does the blame lie? Who is most responsible for the deterioration of faithful and true Christianity in America? That answers can be clearly and easily laid at the feet of the Christian Churches. Why, because it was they whom God charged with the responsibility to spread the message of the Gospel and to stand against all corruption and evil in the world.
(Mark 16:15-16), But not only that, they were also charged with the responsibility of keeping the church pure from infiltration by agents of deception and morally deprives individuals whose agenda was to destroy the integrity of the Christian Church in the eyes of the masses,
(Galatians 2:4-5, Jude 3-4) on both counts, the local church as failed miserably. And we were warned about this taking place. (2 Peter2:1-3)
How did the church fail? By allowing the wrong people to rise to positions of leadership. By placing spiritually unfit family and friends relationships ahead of God and His clear instructions for who should run the local churches, by allowing unqualified people to rise to the top leadership positions and change the message and commitment from God and His word to the world. By failing to take a real stand against clearly false doctrine and false prophets, opting rather to pursue financial gain, popularity, marketability and safety from personal scrutiny.
The church has also failed by its unwillingness to maintain a safe guard of their access to secular media and its place in the leadership of our government and public education. They have basically allowed themselves to be kicked out or they ran out, no longer having a backbone for conflict or spiritual combat.
Of the few that are still fighting, some are not doing a sufficient job of training their youth to fight and be able to maintain their stability and dedication to biblical truth in all of the areas of mass influence such as media, social media, the press, government, education, Hollywood and even in public forums.
Many of those who are still in those places are more concerned about making money than staying faithful to God.
In the churches, the key problem was and still is their failure to produce truly saved, stable, intelligent, dedicated, well informed and determined replacements for leadership in the church. Therefore when the biblically committed powerhouses left and now leave off the scene, they are often replaced by lukewarm or pretentious “believers” who have no intention of holding up the biblical standards or fulfilling God’s mandates in the world. Their personal agendas and doing what will make their job as easy and as financially profitable as possible is their primary focus and they are not the least bit concerned about standing before God to give an account for their failures. They are living for today not eternity. That is why it is easy for them to compromise with the ungodly. Their liberal-leftist viewing diet of night time dramas, secular news, talk shows, documentaries and sitcoms serve to keep them sedated to true Christianity and most of the important biblical truths that we should be following.
Now you understand and see why there are so few pastors and ministers who use their positions to aggressively and consistently meet all of the above criteria in our society.
O yes many will give a sound bite here and there and when a big opportunity comes, grand stand for their fifteen minutes of fame, but how many pastors do you know who have dedicated their church to staying connected to all major branched of mass influence and whose primary goal is evangelism, educating the members and defending the truth? How many can you name who in addition to the above have all of the following auxiliaries regularly operating in their church:
Political committee responsible for keeping the church informed about whom their local and national political leaders are, who are running for election, and their history and character, what laws are being voted on and when, what policies they are trying to pass that directly and negatively affect the people of the city for better or worse, and what their view of the Bible is etc.
Education Committee responsible for keeping the church informed about all matters of the local school system, including details about any curriculum that is anti-Christian or otherwise harmful to our children.
Media and Hollywood Committee responsible for monitoring the networks for anti-Christian programming and galvanizing movements to challenge those networks who disrespect or ignore us, (like the homosexuals do, and you wonder why they now control the media). Since our people are greatly influenced by the TV, it is a no brainer that we should maintain a constant watch and counter-active and proactive program concerning it. In fact, we should also have a presence there even in prime time. The question is, why don’t we? Why is it that the only glimmer of any kind of “Christianity” on secular TV is the embarrassing Tyler Perry material that plays right into that hand of anti-Christianism. Why are there no truly Christian quality dramas, sitcoms, talk shows or News programs on major network secular TV? Because Christians do not have the unity, boldness and the determination to stand for the God they claim to serve. They put their money and their efforts where they are not likely to have to fight. And they are out smarted by homosexuals, atheists and other liberals who have taken over the most powerful media of influence. (Luke 16:8)
Homosexual counter force responsible for keep an eye on their agendas and progress and reporting on their tactics and movements in all key areas that give them power to harm us that they should not have. And not only countering their strategies but proactively preventing them from coming to fruition. Since it is clear that they are a present threat to our spiritual and natural well-being as a nation, it is our obligation to stand against their agendas while we stand for their protection from violence and “true” injustice.
Atheist counter Force This group is another that has been allowed to weave their web of control over our nation and an anti-Christianity sentiment that threatens us all. Just look at how they have been allowed to take over our institutions of lower and higher education, especially in the field of science. This auxiliary would be responsible for not only keeping the church informed about what is being done by them to destroy the Judaeo-Christian status of our country, but also supporting and keeping connected with organizations that are on the front lines battling the atheist agendas in all areas and providing the church with material to train us to refute their teachings and expose their agendas. This would include keeping up on CREATION SCIENCE defenses against the lie of EVOLUTION.
Biblical Apologetics department Whose primary job is to stay up on the best scholarship defending the integrity of the Bible and supply the church with material to counter attacks on the Bible.
And finally, a Christian Ministry watch group, responsible for keeping an eye on so-called Christian ministries that are teaching false and harmful doctrines and that are misrepresenting true Christianity. This is important because there are many false and poor Christian ministries that are doing great harm to the cause of Jesus Christ, and bringing reproach to the true Christian church in the eyes of the public. Believers should be made aware of such groups so that they can avoid being influenced by them or mistaken for them.
I could go on, but I think you get my point. Such is not the case in the vast majority of modern churches (actually I don’t know of even one), not even among the church organizations that are over them, who have a vastly greater budget and people power to accomplish the above and much more.
This lack of attention to and commitment to such details and issues has helped to produce watered down Christian leaders and followers who are not able to effectively defend their faith or resist basic temptations.
You wonder why the Christian church is not well respected these days when so many are steeped in scandal of one kind or other, both publically exposed and not publicized.
When a leader commits a horrendous transgression, and then lies about it until they are exposed, there are few who will stand to publically chastise them in a loving manner, there are many unloving attacks, that will demand stepping down and repentance and doing their first works over.
There is however, no shortage of support from other leaders almost to the point of no fault. Not even a demand for a clear public statement fully confessing the wrong and exonerating Christianity, God and the Bible from connection to their committed sin.
But what about mercy you say? What about their guilt that drives them to want to commit suicide? That is what other Christian leaders are for, and if they were doing their job efficiently, it may not come to that, and it certainly should not in most cases if the leaders are on their job, but there are other situations where such tragedies will be inevitable.
In the first place, the tragic sin could have been prevented in most cases if the proper checks and balances were in place. But if a slick minister gets past those checks and balances and finally gets caught and then due to the embarrassment and rejection he has to endure, decides to take his own life, we deal with that without falsely blaming ourselves for not being able to stop them because we were not “loving and forgiving enough”.
And for those of you who are tempted to place me in the category of an unloving, selfish Christian, who hasn’t got a clue about what true Christian Love is, please tell me where the Bible verse is that any of the other disciples wrote a heart worming letter about Judas Iscariot who killed himself. Matthew 27:5 and how they should have comforted him and because they did not, they are responsible for his death.
You see, the Church has allowed false ideas about Christian love to come in and dominate our theology and it has opened the door to all kinds of sins that are not being correctly dealt with, Including FORNICATION AND ADULTERY.
Now I know that we are probably at the point of no return in the world, these are the last days. But I see nowhere in the great word of God where we as the church are given the permission to let down the standards just because the end is near. I do see the need to be even more dedicated to the revealed word of God a we see the day approaching. (Romans 13:11)
This message will no doubt alienate me from many Christians especially leaders who until now loved me and appreciated my ministry, but I am willing to suffer that rejection and still maintain my love for them because I understand that not everyone professing to be a Christian are indeed Christians, and that not even true Christians are all dedicated enough spiritually to handle such a message. You have my prayers.
I know that one day we will all stand before God to give an account of every deed done in our bodies, (Romans 14:10, Romans 2:1-13 2 Corinthians 5:10) and I am not willing to be rejected by Him just to keep your love and friendship.
In closing, let me state for the record again that I am not indicting the entire spectrum of Christian churches and certainly not the universal church which consists of all true dedicated believers, who are indeed doing the will of God. Detractors within the church always tend to focus on trying to defend bad behavior which is not biblically defendable, and rarely will they even bother to acknowledge the clear facts of history or the current carnality and compromise that are so evident in the visible churches.
My point is that the vast majority of the local churches fail terribly in fulfilling what the Bible clearly teaches as its obligation to not be dedicated to worldliness (1 John 2:15), and it is that failure that has allowed the unrighteous and wicked to gain and maintain the kind of control they have today. (Proverbs 29:2)
Again, I also understand that these things must happen for the Word of God to be fulfilled,
(2 Timothy 3:1-5), but that does not mean that we as Christians should go along with the evil just because it was inevitable and predicted in the Word of God. We are instructed to stand for that which is right and to resist the devil, (Ephesians 6:11 James 4:7) we are told that if we are not with Jesus, we are against Him. (Matthews 12:20). We are to have NO FELLOWSHIP with the unfruitful works of darkness. (Ephesians 5:11)
All this and much more is in the great Word of God, but many professing believers in God are more willing to be at odds with God and friends with the world, (James 4:4) than to be faithful to God. That is a dangerous game to play.
I can play and act the fool with the best of them, and I enjoy laughter and being silly with friends, but when it comes to standing for what is Biblically right, I must do my best to stand with God. May God through the church raise many more to stand with an unyielding commitment to God and His Word who can be seen by the world. There are so many poor examples of Christians; thank God there are still a few who are letting their lights shine.
